Under general direction of the Human Resources Projects Administrator and/or designee, provides written and/or verbal professional advice and interpretation of department rules, regulations and policies for human resource operations. Serves as a professional resource to lower-level staff and other agency staff. Serves as a Human Resources Personnel liaison. Provides technical assistance, training and support to agency staff, including 24/7 facilities, on electronic filing, Docuware, and data analysis work. Serves as the primary point of contact with internal and external auditors on DHS personnel records. Coordinates the requirements for the DHS Secondary Employment Directive for processing, reporting, and semi-annual verification. Serves as timekeeper for assigned staff. As a certified interviewer, utilizes standardized hiring criteria and questionnaires to interview candidates.
