Description:

Professional Employer Resources Inc., is seeking a self-motivated individual to step into our Human Resources Assistant role. This role is essential in supporting various HR functions, including, employee relations, and compliance with labor regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a passion for fostering a positive workplace culture.

Job Responsibilities:

  • First point of contact to handle HR related inbound calls.
  • Provide basic HR guidance and best practices to clients regarding employee issues.
  • Acting liaison between clients and employees.
  • Handle HR administrative tasks such as reconciling background screening invoices, managing client contact lists, conducting new client orientations using Power Point presentations and assisting with job descriptions.
  • Monitor and respond to shared HR mailbox.
  • Maintain positive client relationships to maintain client retention and satisfaction.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience working in an HR environment.
  • Confident speaking in large groups in person and video chats.
  • Confident is conducting live presentations.
  • Prior experience in assisting with employee grievances and investigations.
  • Familiarity with employment laws throughout multiple states.
  • Familiarity with resources to help with complex issues.
