Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian to come join their dynamic clinical team at Kapi'olani Medical Center for Women & Children in Hawaii. Hawai'i's leader in the care of women, infants, and children, with 207 beds and 66 bassinets, it is Hawai'i's only maternity, newborn, and pediatric specialty hospital.
Kapi'olani is also a tertiary care, medical teaching, and research facility.

**What You'll Do**
+ Assess the patient's nutritional status, identify nutritional risk, develop a plan of care, and evaluate outcomes of this patient population
+ Provides nutrition-related expertise in the interdisciplinary team management of all patients and clients
+ Consults with physicians and other health care personnel to determine nutritional needs and diet restrictions
+ Work well with physicians, nursing, and ancillary staff collaboratively as part of a team, as well as independently

**What You Bring**
+ A registered Dietitian credential experience in an acute care pediatric hospital setting preferred will train
+ Prior experience teaching gestational diabetes classes

**Qualifications & Requirements**
Minimum Education Requirement:
Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:
Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
Credentials Requirement:
Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire
